About David Hernandez

Purchasing a home can often be a stressful experience. David Hernandez of Accurate Home Inspectors of Florida, Inc. aims to minimize that stress by providing an unbiased, thorough and professional inspection of the subject property.

After graduating High School, David enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. His MOS (military job) was 1371 Combat Engineer. This job entailed combat construction and demolition as well as a healthy dose of teamwork. During his enlistment he was promoted twice. By the end of his service he had earned the rank of Corporal (E-4) and attained non commissioned officer status.

David worked on a construction crew in North Carolina building and remodeling houses for several years after his enlistment. During this time he learned all the facets of the building process and became very familiar with how a home should be built. He also learned that all the small details really do matter.

As life progressed for David, he moved back home to Florida and worked as a manager of a collision repair shop for several years. This time sharpened his problem solving skills, leadership abilities and his attention to detail.

Looking for a change of pace after he and his wife had their baby boy Gavin, David decided it was time for another vocational shift. He felt it was time to return to his construction roots and he became a home inspector.

After working with and gaining the knowledge and experience from highly reputable inspection companies in Naples, David decided it was time to open his own inspection company. Throughout David’s many years of experience as a home inspector in Florida, he has performed a myriad of inspections, resulting in countless satisfied customers, realtors and insurance companies.
